  6. Sorry for the delay in releasing this version, but I've been very busy
  7. recently. This will probably be the last version of XPKGuide.

  9. XPKGuide is an AmigaGuide viewer which can view AmigaGuide files which have
  10. been crunched using the following crunchers:
  11.  
  12.     P-Compress        You don't need any additional library
  13.                 files to be able to view files crunched
  14.                 using this method.
  15.     CrunchMania        To view CrunchMania files, you need to
  16.                 have the CrM.library installed.
  17.     lh.library        (I mean that it supports files crunched
  18.                 using LhEncode which was supplied with
  19.                 the package on Fish Disk 436). Obviously
  20.                 you need the lh.library installed to use
  21.                 this (supplied).
  22.     PowerPacker        To view files crunched using PowerPacker,
  23.                 you need to have powerpacker.library V35
  24.                 or higher installed (supplied).
  25.     Any XPK sublibrary    To view files crunched using XPK, you
  26.                 must have both xpkmaster.library (supplied)
  27.                 and the appropriate compressor library
  28.                 installed.

  30. XPKGuide also uses the xfdmaster.library to decrunch files if it is
  31. available which means that whenever the xfdmaster.library is updated to
  32. support more crunchers then XPKGuide will automatically support them
  33. as well.

  35. XPKGuide is now localised as well, extra catalogs welcome.
  36.  
  37. I have also written another program called Cruncher which is designed to
  38. complement XPKGuide, it is capable of crunching files using a number of
  39. different crunchers including all of the above crunchers. I have also
  40. written another program called AppDecrunch which can decrunch any files
  41. which have been crunched by the above crunchers.
